Maddy Diment grew up on England’s south coast, which inspired her to work in sustainability from a young age
Maddy is a lead researcher at Tortoise Media, which is committed to ‘slower, wiser news’. Her focus is on finding important environmental stories which are usually hidden in the data and resonate with audiences. She previously worked at the environmental consultancy 3Keel LLP, and as a research assistant at the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford.
