Are you a teacher, careers advisor or lead looking to find out more about green careers? To kickstart Green Careers Week 2024, we hosted a webinar about the green jobs and skills required in the UK today and in the future, and tools that you can use to support future generations through your careers programmes.

This webinar wasn’t recorded, however you can view the presentation slides.

Our guest speakers from Nesta discussed what they’ve learned from analysing millions of job adverts. They provided a picture of the green jobs labour market and how it varies by region, as well as talking about the most in demand green skills and how they’re becoming increasingly important. They spoke about their Green Jobs Explorer and Green Buzz tools to explore the greenness of different occupations and more.

This session was hosted through the Green Careers Hub, a website designed to inspire and inform about green jobs and skills.

These resources provide you with fantastic tools to be able to support your students in their green career journey.
