DWP and IEMA in collaboration for the Green Careers Hub
DWP and government are committed to supporting industry to deliver up to 480,000 green jobs by 2030. This will be crucial in creating the workforce we need to help us reach net zero by 2050. As we move to a green economy there is a significant opportunity for people to benefit from increasing good quality employment, and more opportunity for employers to gain access to the right skills. To make this happen, DWP must continue to work with a range of stakeholders to identify green jobs, and make sure that the right support is in place to help people into them.
As a strategic partner of the Green Careers Hub, DWP supports IEMA’s work to promote green skills and jobs. Collaborating on content and relevant events, DWP provides a wealth of up-to-date information and opportunities for our audience.
