Are you studying in the UK and considering your steps for employment after completing your course?
During this online session, we heard from Robert Young, Advice and Training officer at the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and Alex Mar Morales, a Consultant at Cundall and MSc graduate of Sustainability and Environmental Studies at the University of Strathclyde.
Robert opened the session by providing an overview of work rights after study and the different routes that you might take. He highlighted some of the main considerations when applying for roles in the UK and answer some common questions from students and recent graduates. Alex then spoke about his own personal experiences; how he found his role, the barriers he faced and his own advice for recent graduates looking for a role in the UK.
