“I became aware of ISEP through my previous role as a Climate Strategy Officer for Rother District Council. I knew that I wanted to do an ISEP certification and so worked towards Practitioner status, which I successfully passed in March 2024. From that point as a Practitioner member I had access to ISEP resources, including the Green Careers Hub. I used the ISEP jobs board on the Hub to search for a new job and came across my current role at Clarion Housing Group, which was advertising ISEP membership as a desirable attribute within the person specification. I was able to find out more about the sustainability work from the Clarion case study on the Hub, and was delighted to get the job! So from my membership through to the job application, it’s fair to say that ISEP played a significant role in my latest career move.”
