We launched the most recent phase of the Green Careers Hub in June 2023, showcasing green skills and jobs needed to take us towards a more sustainable future.

Rebecca Turner, Careers Pathway Manager at IEMA, and Sophie Tyldesley, Green Skills and Local Green Finance Team Leader at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, joined this online session to talk about green jobs and skills in the UK.

The webinar covered:

  • Updates on the cross-governmental green agenda – what are the drivers and why is it important
  • Insight on what we know already about specific jobs and skills in demand in the nature sector
  • The aims and mission of the Green Careers Hub
  • A demonstration of the site, highlighting key areas for different individuals

Whether you are already working in sustainability, new to the space or just considering finding out more about what a green job is. The Green Careers Hub can support you, wherever you are on your green careers journey.
